Microsoft Teams

Video Instructions
This video will walk you through the steps or you can follow along below.

Microsoft Security
Our Teams is hosted in the Microsoft GCC (Government Community Cloud) for additional security which requires all users to enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) on their accounts. If you're already using Microsoft 365, it's likely this is already setup. If not, you'll need to configure MFA before accessing Teams.

Select "Security Info" then "Add sign-in method" and follow the prompts.

We recommend using the Microsoft Authenticator app for a seamless push notification experience.

Accessing Teams
Each Team has a unique URL. You'll need to bookmark this from the invitation email or contact us at Support@LeftBrainPro.com to get the link.

The primary use of Teams is document storage. Do not email sensitive information. Please upload any documents or files to the appropriate channel.

You should have received an email invitation to Teams. Click the link to "Open Microsoft Teams."

From here, each client may have a different experience depending on the status and security around their existing Microsoft account. If you don't have a Microsoft account, you'll be directed to create one. If you do have a Microsoft account, you must have multi-factor authentication (MFA) enabled (see above).

You have a choice of accessing Teams using the app by selecting "Open" or by using the web browser by selecting "Cancel" and then "Use the web app instead."
If you use Teams in your work environment, we find that accessing our Teams in the web browser provides the best experience. If you want to access multiple organizations within the Teams app, please contact your IT team for assistance.

Once inside Teams, you should see your Team(s) and Channels (i.e. projects) on the left.
